This Arborsystem Approved Contractors Scheme was set up in response to many requests from landscape architects for a recommended contractor who could install Greenleaf products to the highest possible standards.

Using a preliminary list of contractors with whom we had long-standing relationships, a series of introductory seminars was arranged to introduce the scheme. The next stage was to evaluate the contractors’ performance in the field, commencing an ongoing regime of site inspections that ensures that standards are being maintained.

Knowledgeable Installers Means Quality Installations

To become a member of the scheme, a contractor must complete a training course (on their own premises) delivered by Greenleaf personnel. At the same time, the contractor’s commitment and attitude to all aspects of tree planting is carefully evaluated. The next Arborsystem installation undertaken by the contractor is carefully inspected. Special attention is given to the quality of on-site workmanship.

Assuming the company meets the required standards, they will be added to the exclusive list of Greenleaf Arborsystem Approved Contractors.

Review Procedures

To remain on the Arborsystem Approved register, landscaping firms need to demonstrate the following:

1. Continued high standards of workmanship on site.
2. Complete integrity when working to architects’ specifications.
3. Compliance with all architects’ site instructions.
4. Detailed reporting procedures for on-site issues that may arise.
5. A good commitment to continuous improvement.
6. Financial integrity.

All approved contractors are expected to cooperate fully with Greenleaf’s review procedures. Reviews will be carried out on an annual basis, but will also be considered every time a project requires a list to be issued. Any contractor refusing to cooperate with Greenleaf site inspectors will be removed from the Greenleaf Arborsystem Approved Contractor Scheme.
